inTune is a modern Cornish ladies choir rehearsing in three locations across Cornwall.

These choirs are for anyone who already loves to sing or for people who fancy giving something new a try! We all know that singing is good for us, but joining a choir can be intimidating, nerve-wracking and downright scary. My dream was to create a choir that could accommodate all abilities, be warm and welcoming and above all make everyone feel awesome! So therefore, there are NO auditions and you DON'T need to read music as I teach you to sing the songs by ear. We have a fantastic repertoire of well known songs. The harmonies make the songs that bit more special and you will find the experience truly uplifting. In addition to this, rehearsals are brilliant fun!

If you think you can't sing, that is unlikely to be true. But if you struggle to get those notes out, I will help you. I follow the Estill Voice Training method of singing and incorporate some exercises into rehearsals. These techniques along with an increase in confidence will see your voice improve - and it won't take long to notice the difference. Ultimately, your voice won't get better unless you use it! The expression 'USE IT OR LOSE IT!' couldn't be more accurate when it comes to singing. I even offer private singing lessons (only available to choir members) if you fancy that little bit of extra help.

You choose what to make of your membership of inTune - you may just want to attend rehearsals, you may like to do the occasional gig or you may find yourself wanting to do it all! For some, joining inTune has been life changing.

So - if you would like to improve your singing, meet new people and become part of something really special, the only requirements are a sense of humour and a willingness to give it a good go. Don't be surprised if it takes several weeks to find your stride. It is well worth the effort.
