About Capital Connection

Capital Connection are an award winning female close harmony chorus based in Ruislip, North West London. The choir has been performing and entertaining audiences since its formation in 1975 and currently has around 30 members. Many of our members come from Ruslip and the surrounding areas of Eastcote, Pinner, Ickenham and Harrow, but some also travel from further afield in and around the London area and beyond.

We sing unaccompanied (a cappella) and have a varied repertoire of songs including pop, ballads, film and broadway numbers, suitable for all types of occasions. However, our speciality is four-part harmony barbershop style.

As a member of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS), we compete annually at a national level and we are proud to consistently remain one of the top 10 choruses in the country. We have also taken part in a variety of other competitions such as the International Eistedfodd in Wales, Choir of the Year and various regional music festivals, where we have achieved many successes over the years.

In addition to hosting our own shows, our chorus is also available for bookings and have a busy diary, entertaining at a wide selection of events. Our most recent engagements have included local festivals, community concerts, the Ideal Home Show and the London Big Half Run. We have even performed at the Mall Galleries in London whilst being sketched!
