Platinum-selling, R&B singer and Brit Award nominee.
Born in London's East End, Kenny, who had stints as a boxer and phone engineer before embarking on his successful singing career, has had eight top 40 hits, including his 1991 break out track 'Outstanding', which made it to number 12 in the UK Singles chart as well as 'Thinking about your Love' and 'Best of You'. All three appeared on his 1991 Platinum debut album Voices, which reached number three in the album charts, selling over 300,000 copies. At the 1992 Brit Awards, Kenny was nominated in two categories: Best British Male Vocalist and Best British Newcomer.
In 1993, his second album, Wait for Me, spawned the single 'Trippin' On Your Love', which reached number 17 in the UK charts. Other studio albums include Crazy World (2006), Breathe (2011) and The Thomas Brown Affair (2013), a collaboration with jazz pianist Wayne Brown.
Kenny has regularly appeared on TV and supported global bands such as Level 42. In 2016, he became lead singer of Manchester funk outfit, Living in Box.
