Sue studied at Bath Spa University, later completing a PGDip at the RWCMD in Cardiff.

She has recorded on award winning albums including Jim Moray's 'Low Culture'. She has also recorded with Newton Faulkner, The Heavy, Beth Porter and the Availables, Jackie Oates, IKO and Daisy Chapman amongst others.

Her work with The Heavy has been used for Film Trailers (including The Dallas Buyers Club and Quentin Tarentino's The Hateful Eight) and several TV adverts. Other recording credits include Public Service Broadcasting, This Is The Kit, Rose Kemp and Crippled Black Pheonix. TV credits include adverts for the BBC and Dr Who.

She is also a member of The Bristol String Quartet.
