3rd Section Band.

A traditional village brass band based in the Forest of Dean, Pillowell Silver Band has been around for well over 100 years and is still thriving.

With a strong contingent of players from Pillowell and surrounding areas the future of brass in this corner of the Forest of Dean looks bright indeed.

Affectionately known as The Stompers in the early days, due to the popular nature of the music played the band still enjoys a reputation for entertainment and can often be heard playing locally in the Pillowell area and the wider Forest of Dean.

The band performs at various different functions as well as concerts in the Forest of Dean area and also perform at various brass band contests throughout the year. We are always happy to discuss your requirements should you wish to consider booking the band. We have an extensive range of music in our repertoire and always aim to entertain with a mix of traditional brass band music through to arrangements of film and TV themes as well as arrangements of light classics and pop music.
