This flexible band is eclectic in styles and tastes and always suits the mood and occasion when performing. With tenor and baritone saxes, flute and vocals there are never two tunes alike.

Cygnet play gentle swing ballads, bouncy favourites from the Great American songbook, a little be-bop, and many groove based pieces by the likes of Grover Washington and Cannonball Adderley. The Latin repertoire is equally varied and includes the popular styles of Bossa-Nova, Samba, and Mambo.
