About Shirland Welfare Brass Band
Shirland Welfare Band are a successful, vibrant brass band based in the village of Shirland in the heart of Derbyshire in the East Midlands.
In addition to the main band we run a thriving training band to teach young players and beginners how to become accomplished brass players.
The band has been very successful in brass band competitions in recent years, winning many prizes and awards.
Both bands are available to hire for performances at fetes, concerts and other events where you wish to add a brass sound to your entertainment.
Shirland Welfare Band meet on Wednesdays at 19:30 and the training band meet on Thursdays at 19:00. Both bands meet at
