Description

We are a friendly non competing Brass Band based in the small village of Hannington, mid way between Basingstoke and Newbury.

The Band provides music for a wide variety of events including parks, fetes, church services, concerts, private and charity events. As a result the bands repertoire is hugely varied and covers everything from classical and contemporary works to music from the shows, marches, hymns and other sacred music.

Band rehearsals are held at Hannington Village hall, 7:30pm to 9:30pm Wednesday evenings.

Description

Victoria Park is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of Newbury Town Council. The Park features a children’s splash park, play areas suitable for toddlers and older children, tennis courts, a skatepark, boating pond, outdoor gym equipment, floral displays, a community cafe and is home to Newbury Bowling Club.

Victoria Park is host annually to a number of events and Brass & Silver Bands play throughout the summer on the traditional Bandstand.
