Wrecking Ball has taken the South West by storm since forming in 2016 with their unique sound of modern country and southern rock. In 2018 they have taken the show nationwide with shows including Scotland’s home of country music the famous Glasgow Opry as well as dates in Yorks., Lancs., Notts. and Wales and as far west as St. Ives.

Inspired by cracking nights in Nashville honky tonks, Aussie Nick and British Country Music Award winning singer Mark Hills, the deep voice of the south, started Wrecking Ball to bring to the UK good old stomping bar room rock southern USA style.

Right down to the ‘Haller and Swaller’, baseball caps, snakeskin boots and the famous Nashville ‘Tip Bucket', WB are a southern USA experience that are filling the void for a growing younger audience hungry for music inspired by Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Aaron Watson and more. Originals and covers, Wrecking Ball are authentic modern country.

The Farmers Arms is a traditional country pub in the heart of Somerset. Located on the main road between Taunton and Minehead its very accessible to all.

The Farmer’s Arms takes great pleasure in inviting you to sit back and relax in comfortable ‘olde world’ surroundings, and enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of local beer.

Unwind in our traditional bar, with flagstones on the floor, and an open fire to cheer your cockles.

We are a family pub, so children and dogs are always welcome.

If the weather’s fine, sit outside in our delightful gardens; if you want to ‘shelter from the storm’, come on in!

The bar is open all day, every day, and the restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Usually no need to book, but we can get busy – always best to check. Drop in when you're passing, or call us to book up for a group or for an occasion; whichever – we’ll always be pleased to see you.
