The Haze are an exciting, 4-piece all male pop/rock cover band from Southend-on-Sea in Essex, playing hits spanning the last 6 decades. The whole band have many years gigging and studio experience between them. All members of the band sing and we are versatile in the range of music we can cover. We play hits that people know, can sing-along to and get up and dance to, with our own interpretation of the original - our way.
Whether it's a function band you require for your Wedding Day or Birthday party, or a great pub-rock band, The Haze Band cover everything from Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Bruno Mars, Bryan Adams, The Cranberries, Cee Lo Green, Green Day, Ed Sheeran, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Oasis, Offspring, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Robbie Williams, Queen, Kings of Leon, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Plan B, The Fratellis, The Monkeys, Jimi Hendrix, Paolo Nutini, The Zutons, Tenacious D, to Britney Spears and more!
In addition to the full 4-piece band, we also offer an acoustic duo set for you. If you book both, then we are happy to offer a significant discount off of our standard price list.
Just tell us what you want and we will do our best to accommodate your special occasion. We are happy to learn new material for your special event (with sufficient notice and may be subject to small additional fee).
We carry full Public Liability Insurance (underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance) providing £10 million of cover. You can check our cover is valid using the link below.
We bring our own, experienced sound & light engineer to every gig, (in association with Blues Garden PA), to ensure the best possible sound and light experience.
We have built up a good reputation for providing quality food and drink in welcoming surroundings together with comfortable accommodation.
We have a traditional bar popular with locals and visitors alike, a separate restaurant and comfortable guest accommodation.
Traditional, home cooked food available all day, every day. With light bites and sandwiches at lunchtimes to full evening meals, grills, pub classics and daily specials . . . there’s something for everyone. We also offer a separate children’s menu and our traditional Sunday roasts are not to be missed!
A great selection of wines are available by either the glass or the bottle. We take great pride in the quality of our draught beers and cask ales and we endeavour to serve you a perfect pint every time. Our Guest Ales are specially selected (and rigorously tested!) to complement our regular selection.
Happy Hour between 5 and 7pm on weekdays, where you can enjoy £1 off pints of all our draught beers.
We also have a full range of speciality coffees and teas for you to enjoy.
In the warmer summer months our outside drinking area overlooking the sea front is ideal for al fresco drinking and dining.
