Based in the London Borough of Bexley, Belvedere Concert Band has gained a reputation as one of the leading concert bands in the South-East, attracting both experienced and aspiring musicians from the surrounding areas.
The Band performs a wide repertoire of music, ranging from light classical and traditional music, to music from stage and screen, 'big band' and popular standards. Dependent on the nature of the concert, the Band can engage supporting vocalists, or join forces with a full choir. For most concerts the Band will use its full complement of around 45 musicians, but for certain special occasions, a smaller band may be provided.
The types of concerts the band have performed in the last year include, bandstand concerts, picnic concerts, indoor charity concerts, private functions wanting focal entertainment, Christmas concerts, Remembrance concerts, themed concerts: music of the movies, musicals, summer programme, classical / proms, big band / jazz, wind band / concert band.

The Mick Jagger Centre stands as a cultural anchor in Dartford, a purpose-built performing arts venue that has served the local community and wider Kent region since its opening in 2000. Established with significant funding, including a contribution from its legendary namesake, it functions as a registered charity dedicated to advancing education and providing facilities for the performing and visual arts. It is notably the long-term home of the Dartford Music School and the Dartford Symphony Orchestra, fostering artistic development and performance.
Within its walls, the atmosphere shifts with each event, from the hushed anticipation before a classical concert to the vibrant energy of a live band. The main performance spaces, including a larger theatre capable of seating 350 or accommodating 600 standing, offer clear sightlines and carefully tuned acoustics, ensuring every note and spoken word resonates with clarity. The comfortable seating in the main auditorium invites audiences to settle in, while the subtle scent of polished wood and fresh programmes often lingers in the air.
Practical considerations are well-addressed, with the centre offering accessible facilities for all patrons. A welcoming bar and cafe provide refreshments, creating a relaxed environment for pre-show drinks or interval conversations. While on-site parking is limited, the venue is conveniently served by local bus routes and is a walkable distance from Dartford rail station.
