Playing a range of traditional, modern and original folk, Nick has been entertaining audiences around the South-East of England for over 15 years as well as spending 2 years performing around the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. With previous appearances at Dover Music Festival, Rochester Sweeps Festival, Faversham Hop Festival, Folkestone's Mermaid Festival, Eaglewood Folk Festival (Ontario) to name a few, he has been featured numerous times on BBC Radio Kent shows such as Douglas Welch's “Kent Folkâ€.
Influenced by traditional folk, and the likes of Bob Dylan, The Levellers, Billy Bragg, Kate Rusby, Ian Giles, and Johnny Cash, Nick's performances take you on a journey from foot-stomping renditions of rousing traditional folk to heartstring-tugging ballads.
Built in 1895, and refurbished in 2006, the Leas Bandstand stands opposite the Clifton Gardens and next to the Leas Cliff Hall.
There isn't a car park, but, street parking is available nearby.
