Live Performance
Brass Band
The band has been in existence for over 70 years and has been actively involved with village life ever since.
Regular performances are given for village events throughout the year, such as for summer fetes and Christmas. As well as this, Marshfield Brass Band play in various other countywide events.
The band practices on Wednesdays from 7.45pm. We practice in the Football Club Pavilion, Withymead Road, Marshfield, SN14 8P.
Our John Coles Park is the jewel in our crown, a beautiful green space in the heart of Chippenham regularly attracting 1,500 people on a sunny, summer weekend. The park offers a large area of open space and a circular walk through mature trees. It is maintained to its consistent high standard by our outside team.
The park is open from 8am to dusk spring and summer and from 8am to 4pm from early November to mid-January.
The Bandstand in John Coles Park will be hosting a selection of Sunday afternoon concerts which are free to attend. These popular concerts are a firm favourite in the diary and a super reason to make up a picnic and relax with some gentle toe tapping.
All concerts start at 3pm until 5pm
