Brass Band
The Melton Band is one of the oldest brass bands in the world. If you would like to be part of this long standing tradition, please come and join us.
We are proudly sponsored by The Melton Building Society.
Play Close is the back garden of St Mary's Church and hosts some of the town's premier events throughout the year, including the Melton Country Fair, the annual hunt meet on New Year’s Day, fairs, circus' and other seasonal events.
There is a Children's Play Area and specialised play equipment suitable for a wheel chair or push chair.
The bandstand is grade II Listed.
