2nd section contesting band.

Avonbank Brass Band is based in the beautiful and historic town of Evesham on the banks of the River Avon and has around 25 players.

The Vale of Evesham is a historic town situated between the Malverns, Bredon Hill and the Cotswolds.

We are a friendly and welcoming band and attract players from a wide area. Rehearsals for our 2nd section senior band are on Monday and Friday evenings 7.30pm- 9.30pm in our very own rehearsal studio; the Mick Sharp Memorial Hall, The Leys, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 3AP.

Our training band welcomes players of all ages and abilities and rehearses on a Wednesday nights 7.00pm to 8.00pm

Description

Priory Park is close to the town centre of Great Malvern. It holds a variety of events throughout the year, including live music, outdoor cinema and festivals.

The Victorian bandstand was restored and re-erected in the 1980's.

The park also features a large number of specimen trees many of which were planted in Victorian times, a children's play area, and a duck pond.
