Carmarthenshire vocal Duo Llinos M Jones and Denny G take you on a journey through much loved classics across the decades from The Great American Songbook through to contemporary artists such as Norah Jones via Dionne Warwick, Julie London and Nina Simone. Jazzabelles have also taken current numbers by Jessie J and Bruno Mars for example, and have added their Jazzabelles sparkle in order to produce another dimension to a well known song.

Description

Opened in 1900, Carmarthen Park boasts Wales's first velodrome (cycle track) and one of the few early velodromes to survive in working condition. Complete with its original grandstand, bandstand, lodge, entrance gates and railings, Carmarthen Park has been used for a wide range of sports, eisteddfodau, entertainments, circuses and concerts.

‘The Tea Shop’ at Carmarthen Park is now open daily from 10.30 am serving tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice cream and light snacks. With outside and inside seating for 25 it is an ideal place for those wishing to take a break while using the facilities of the Park or to meet with friends for a relaxing tea and cake.

The bandstand is well used with regular performances on both Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.
