An eclectic mix of musicians, Groove Cartell are an eight piece Funk & Soul band from Cambridgeshire in the UK.
Playing a mix of original, contemporary covers and rare Funk & Soul
Venue on lower deck of historic vessel, with beer garden.
Charters offers a truly unique experience; coupling Pan Asian cuisine with 12 Real Ales including award winning brews from Oakham Ales, a year round beer festival.
Originally named Leendert-R and built in 1907, this Dutch barge is now moored on the River Nene by Town Bridge. Opened as Charters in September 1991.
Normally eight real ales available plus Belgian bottled beers and eight real ciders.
Live music at the weekend from 10.30pm and regular vinyl nights. Acoustic sets on Sundays from 3.30pm. Poetry night second Wednesday of the month.
Live in the garden marquee from 3pm* – Family friendy.
*in the case of bad weather the band will perform in the bar.
