We are FIREBALL A York, UK, based 3-piece tribute to the legendary classic rock bands of the 1960's and 70's and their immortal songs. We'll bring you: Thin Lizzy; Rolling Stones; Bad company; Kinks; Free; Neil Young; Steppenwolf; Queen; ZZ top; Status quo; Black sabbath; ACDC and more. Rock fans old and young turn up at our gigs and, once they've discovered us, they just keep coming back. We've been around for years and we play just about anywhere: pubs; clubs of all types; parties; functions; village halls etc. We particularly suit biker festivals. Upstairs gigs are not for us though, unless there is a lift. We have a van full of great - but big & heavy - sound & lighting gear and we 'aint gettin' no younger.'

Although we play mainly in the UK we have also played in the U S A and on the Isle of Man, where we are annual favourites at the world famous TT meeting. We play most days during our fortnight there at various venues across the island, including headline shows at the the grandstand and in front of thousands at the legendary 'Bushys' promenade venue in Douglas. The bikers love us.

Incidentally, we're occasionally a 4-piece when one of our mates is able to fit us in around his other commitments. He's a phenomenal guitarist, quite something if you're lucky enough to be around. *** Bookers please note: If we have already been booked as a 3- piece, there is no extra charge, of course, when this turns us into a 4-piece.

Description

A single room pub facing onto St. Sampson’s Square in the centre of York. The pub is located on the site of a Roman bathhouse – hence the name – and for a small fee you can see the remains downstairs. The Roman Bath is busy place day and night with regular live music in the evening – often of the rock variety.
