Live Performance
Brass Band
The Dunchurch Band is currently a 4th Section brass band based in the historic village of Dunchurch, on the south-western outskirts of Rugby, Warwickshire.
The main focus of the band is currently its Concert programme, with a busy schedule of performances - formal concerts, fetes and fundraising - throughout each year. Dunchurch Band has recently returned to contesting entering the Midlands Area Brass Band Championship competition in March of this year. Please see the page for details.
We also have a flourishing Training Band which performs regularly and aims to encourage beginners and learners of any age to come along and give brass banding a go.
Main Band rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 7.30pm-9.30pm, at the WI Hall, Southam Road, Dunchurch (shown by the purple pointer on map below).
The Training Band rehearses on Mondays 7.30pm-8.30pm. The beginners session runs from 7.00pm-7.30pm.
The Fete is at Dunchurch Village Hall and Sportsfield. The Dunchurch Band are playing at the fete from 2 pm to 3 pm. The Dunchurch Training Band will also be performing at the fete from 3.50 pm to 4.10 pm.
