Description

The Sex Pistols rose out of the poverty and hopelessness of the working class in the 1970's. A few kids with no prospects, endlessly rehearsing their band. On advice from Malcolm McLaren they had a band reshuffle and took on a new vocalist, one whose venomous lyrics and insane appearance and singing turned their basic meaty rock act into a scathing commentary on their times. With an increasing cult following, the Sex Pistols changed the face of popular music for the whole world.

Although the Pistols reformed several times to tour, the band is no more. This is a crying shame, because the days of poverty and hopelessness are back with a vengeance. It's time to get angry again.

We celebrate the Sex Pistols by playing with their blistering energy and their style that's for anyone who's had enough of being left out by the powerful and put to sleep by the media and who wants to stand up and shout 'I Wanna Be Me!' In our concerts we bring back the flavour of those heady days of Punk Rock with Pistols songs played as the Pistols played them.
