Genre

Description

Sam and his band had a 2017 full of memorable moments. The year started off with a brand new line up featuring Paul Hopkins on DOUBLE BASS, Steve Tanton on DRUMS and Lucy Green on GUITAR and BANJO. The band set off on tour in April with a set list full of new material, displaying a mature departure from the band’s previous sound. Still in keeping with the old feel of a SLIDE GUITAR LED roots/rock band which SGATMH have built their reputation as since 2013. But now with aspects of ROOTS REGGAE, HIP-HOP BEATS, ALT ROCK, NEW WAVE and FOLK. Not to mention an EPIC NEW FEMALE VOICE in the mix.

What followed in the next few months was a festival season filled with amazing moments. The first stop, GLASTONBURY 2017 where the band played a series of shows to excited fans old and new. In August, the band dipped it’s toe in to the EUROPEAN FESTIVAL CIRCUIT for the first time with tremendously well recieved sets at LA TRUITE MAGIQUE Festival in Belgium and SZIGET FESTIVAL in Budapest.

Sam and his band are now putting the finishing touches to their new EP and preparing for their upcoming dates in the U.K. and Europe.
