We are a new 5 piece reggae covers made up of experienced musicians based in Bristol.
This friendly pub has been serving ales since at least 1572 to tourists and locals alike. This historical little gem was the inspiration for the White Star shipping line and there are various items of Titanic memorabilia on view around the pub.
Sky and BT Sport ensure all sports fans are kept happy with an easy view to a screen from any point in the pub. There is also a screen in our enclosed suntrap garden but watch out for the “gorillas” in the undergrowth!
The Star is not just about sport though, it is also a well-known live music venue with bands and offers theme nights most weekends along with the ever popular Sunday night quiz
Foodies are well catered for at lunchtimes with a variety of homemade specials and an extensive pub menu complemented by the wide range accompanying beverages.
