Formed in 2012 by current and former members of John Rossall's Glitter Band, Smashed, The Stiffs and Sweet Addiction, Glam45 try to give as authentic a 70's Glam Rock Experience as possible, with renditions of classic 70's Glam and Glitter tunes and with original 70's Glam Rock outfits and modern reproductions of classic 70's Glam Rock styles.
Playing all the greats from the Sweet, The Glitter Band, Marc Bolan, T-Rex, David Bowie, Mott the Hoople, Roxy Music, Suzi Quatro, The Arrows, Abba, Alvin Stardust, Mud, Showaddywaddy........
Glam45 are putting the Rock back into Glam Rock.
The Talbot Hotel is situated on Church Street in Burnley, less than 5 minutes walk from the bustling town centre. It is on most major bus routes and a mere 10 minutes walk from Burnley Central Railway Station.
The hotel is one of the town's oldest and well established buildings, dating back some 600 years.
We offer a wide selection of REAL ALES, LIVE Sky Sports on large screen TVs, 2 pool tables, state of the art Digital Jukebox and an outdoor secure beer garden.
There is LIVE music to suit all tastes on Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday afternoons / early evenings.
Occasionally there is further live music on Special Dates.
