The Royal Forester, one of the county's oldest pubs has had a new lease of life since Maxine & Sean took over in 2005. It makes the most of it enviable position by the Wyre Forest (The main visitor center is just across the road) the smart yet comfortable inn is a perfect place to relax after rural excursions.
The airy bar has inviting sofa's and a baby grand often features a guest pianist at weekends
The meandering cosy 90 seater restaurant is perfect for a cosy candlelit dinner for two with little nooks & crannys and a series of small dining rooms that are ideal for small groups of 8,12 or 16 people.Tables of up to 40 can also be accommodated by prior arrangement.
Head Chef Mark Hammond and his team have put together an AA Rosette award winning menu that focuses on fresh, local, and seasonal dishes.
Chef writes the Menu's on a daily basis based on the local produce delivered that very morning.
With the Wyre Forest on the doorstep game is obviously a house specialty when in season, and Chef is a keen amateur forager who can often be seen picking the best the Wyre Forest, surrounding hedgerows and fields have to offer.
Daily deliveries of day boat Caught Cornish Seafood are offered alongside flavourful and imaginative vegetarian dishes. Fresh table dhote menu's run along side the A la carte with chefs specials starting at just £9.99 for 3 courses. A traditional Sunday roast menu is available Sundays with a childrens menu available throughout the week.
