Non-competing band.
The South Notts Hussars Association Band (Formerly The South Notts Hussars Territorial Army Band) practice at the Bulwell TA Centre on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We receive support from the TA in the form of instruments, an extensive music library, and excellent practice facilities. In return we perform at a few TA functons each year. We wear traditional (not current) uniforms for these performances, some of which involve marching. The majority of members are not signed up to the TA, and this is not a requirement for membership.

Description

West Park is the largest park in the Borough of Erewash and has previously achieved Green Flag status.

As well as a large range of excellent outdoor sports and recreational facilities, the park has significant local historic importance and has a number of historic features. The park also hosts a range of events, which attract thousands of people.

Recently, the park has undergone a huge programme of improvements to make it an even more welcoming place to visit and we are committed to continuously improving the facilities.
