Open Mic - with Jim Swidenbank
NosDa Open Mic Night is EVERY Wednesday! Join us on October 24th for a night with Jim Swidenbank, NosDa's original Open Mic Host way back when! Jim can be found bashing away on his guitars in the bars of South Wales either solo, duo, or with his band Featherjaw.
Our lively bar is a great place to kick off your night, and the best place to meet other travellers. We have a huge selection of Welsh beers, ciders and spirits for you to sample while you get to grips with a bit of the local lingo with our regular customers.
We run a popular open mic night on the second and last Wednesday of every month and also have Beer Festivals and live music regularly.
Our simple menu is available daily until 9pm and lets you sample delicious local produce at affordable prices.

Our dormitory rooms consist of 4,6,8 and 10 beds and a shared bathroom. We offer mixed sex or female only dorms all of which have full length mirrors and wash basin's, with each bed having its own plug sockets.
We also offer shared rooms with en-suite bathrooms, these rooms consists of 3, 4, 5 or 6 beds. The bed linen is provided and your beds will be made up for you by our housekeeping team prior to arrival.
Lockers are available free of charge (£5 key deposit) and towels are available to hire.
For the budget traveller that would prefer a little more privacy, we have private rooms that can sleep up to 3
people with communal shower facilities.
These rooms each have individual wash hand basin’s and the beds come ready made up.
NosDa also offers private dorm-style rooms with shared bathroom. These rooms come with bunk-beds and/or single beds and can sleep up to 10 people.
We also offer private en-suite rooms to
suit all needs, whether you're looking for
a romantic night or a weekend away with friends.
NosDa has single, double, twin, triple, quad and even 5 and 6 bed rooms available.These rooms have their own pod style bathrooms, television, bed linen and towels.
Sign up for Open Mic slots is from 7.30pm, with music starting just after 8pm. House guitar and full PA provided, there's free entry for everyone and a free drink for all performers. See you there!
