Our aim is simple, to fill your event with energy and fun, as we play our live mix of party, pop and disco songs to keep your guests singing and dancing along with us all night.

All our music is played totally live, without the use of backing tracks. We believe it's the best and only way to get the energy and excitement you want for your event, and to keep the dance floor moving all night.

The singers in the band have excellent stage presence and we engage and involve the audience in our performances wherever possible. Between us, we have many years of experience in a variety of different bands.

The band are reliable and punctual. We are fully self-contained, providing a top-quality PA and lighting system for audiences of up to 500 people, ensuring that the sound quality and levels are perfect for any venue and audience. We have full Public Liability Insurance, and our electronic equipment is safety tested regularly.

We have posted up links to our Facebook page, so you can watch a few short clips and photos of recent gigs. These are not great quality, although they give you a feel for what we're all about!

We serve a range of Costa Coffee’s and provide free Wi-Fi all day.

Situated opposite the Abington Park entrance, we are the destination pub for the area. Come and listen to live bands in the park on Sundays and enjoy a relaxing drink at the same time!

The Abington is a great place to meet before heading into town, we’re just a ten minute walk away from the centre. We’re also directly behind the cricket club, perfect for after match drinks.

Lunchtimes and early evenings are a popular time – our food goes down well both from the Main Menu and our Specials Menu. We have lots of seating to eat inside or out in the Beer Garden during the summer months.

In addition to our Food and Drink options we screen Premiership Football and many other live sports on our big Screen and HD TVs so no need to miss any action.

We serve good traditional food. Our plates go out full and come back empty. Why? We have a great value Meal Deal that is both great quality and value. Our new menu offers two main meals from the classic selection for £12.00. We also have grills, salads, jacket potatoes, sandwiches or baguettes available.

If you are looking for a traditional Sunday Lunch then look no further. Traditional roasts with all the trimmings for only £7.25 or £11.95 for Two! (Chicken, Beef or Pork).

If you wish to drink and dine Alfresco then the Abington is the place to be. With over 20 tables outside you can dine in the sun or drink in the shade. Five great umbrellas cover the large patio area, now improved with heaters. Wheel chair access is easy and available through our disabled entrance.

Dogs are now welcome inside the pub, as well as outside, in certain areas of the pub but they must be kept on a lead at all times and are not allowed on the furniture.
