Mick and Sarah became friends through mutual musical acquaintances, and soon began meeting up to jam covers of any songs that caught their ear – it didn’t take too long for them to acquire a wide and eclectic range of tunes, from Joan Baez to pirate heavy metal band Alestorm.

Several months later Andy the drummer joined and weirdly, the addition of some dynamic drums made things start to sound a whole lot better. A post rehearsal review of the repertoire in a local pub, revealed a most surprising theme – the core of their output was in fact country, with a good dollop of rock/punk influence.

Thus Bad Wolf evolved to fill a niche in the live music scene, bringing their variety of country music to new audiences, but still fulfilling the band members’ desire to rock out.

This venue is no stranger to live music acts and since opening nearly 4 years ago The Dragonffli has attracted attention from bands all over the Uk and as far the states.
