Live Performance
Brass Band
We are a brass band representing the City of Bath. The band plays at many different events in and around the city, including summer concerts in the local parks and gardens, and performances in local churches and community halls.
We also compete in national and regional brass band contests and are currently in the third section of the West of England region.
We are proud to have the Mayor of Bath as Patron of the band and have the privilege of being able to use the complete City of Bath coat of arms as our band crest.
Carrswood Day Service stands as a vital local asset in Cleeve Green, Bath, dedicated to empowering adults with learning disabilities. It functions as a supportive environment where individuals can cultivate new skills, build confidence, and enhance their independent living capabilities, fostering a greater sense of purpose within their community.
Within its walls, a calm yet purposeful atmosphere prevails. The scent of freshly baked goods often drifts from the kitchen, a testament to the cooking and baking sessions, while the gentle hum of conversation or the occasional burst of music from drama activities fills the air. Spaces are designed to encourage engagement, from art studios to sensory rooms, providing a backdrop for personal growth and connection.
The centre offers a range of practical provisions, including a cooked lunch and a selection of hot and cold drinks throughout the day. While specific garden details are not extensively highlighted, the emphasis on walking groups suggests accessible outdoor areas for activity. Transport options are also available, ensuring broader access for those who rely on it.
This facility transcends a mere service provider; it is a cornerstone for personal development and social integration, enabling individuals to lead more fulfilling and connected lives within Bath.
