Description

Creswell Colliery Brass Band is a traditional and friendly brass band from North Derbyshire that has been around for more than 100 years.

We're a community-based organisation and we welcome players of all standards and abilities. If you have never played before and would like to see if banding is for you, don't be shy, come and have a blow!

The band rehearses on Thursday evenings, from 7.30 - 9.30 at Clowne Methodist Church, North Road, Clowne, which is within easy reach from junction 30 of the M1, just 15 mins from Chesterfield and 25 mins from Sheffield.

The postcode is S43 4PF and there is a free public car park just opposite the church. We're a stone's throw from the local watering-hole too!

We can perform for various engagements from Village Fetes to Private Weddings playing a variety of musical styles including Broadway numbers, Classical Themes and even the occasional Popular Song.
