Description

Camisayo is an alternative roots band from Cambridge UK.
Mixing Folk and Blues influences and artists from different origins and backgrounds, Camisayo creates and interprets music with energy and talent.

Formed around a kitchen table in Cambridge in December 2017. Initially as a means for friends to get together, Camisayo swiftly began to write original material. The diverse influences and backgrounds of its members results in an alternative take on roots music. Cutting their teeth on the open mic scene, they rapidly emerged as a part of Cambridge's flourishing music community. Camisayo are reguarly playing gigs in local pubs and venues and plan to expand their unique sound across the country.
