Dirty Vinyl, Hard Classic Rock/Metal cover band formed in Morley, Leeds West Yorkshire, UK in 2012 at a rehearsal recording studio, DPS. Founded by three young lads, Dan Clark, James Booth and Pete Barrett. Dirty Vinyl were formally a Punk cover band, consisting of, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Billy Idol. After a while they decided to put some Led Zeppelin and Motörhead and even Green Day into the set.
Not long after forming, Dirty Vinyl were asked to play a big local charity festival called CHURFEST. The festival was for Help for Heroes. DV’s answer was yes of course. The band have had three line-ups since forming, changes of the bassist, Vocals and Guitarists. Two of the founding members James Booth and Pete Barrett are still in the band.
Dirty Vinyl have also been part of band Jupiter Falls (Broken Records) 2014 and 2016 UK Tour.
From then Dirty Vinyl have worked hard, keeping Live music and Legendary songs alive for your entertainment, they love what the do and there is no stopping them. Dirty Vinyl’s set now consists of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica, Deep Purple, Motörhead and more. Dirty Vinyl is feeling better than ever before and have shows not to be missed.
