Ham fisted Lancashire Lad plays melodic folk-pop.
Known affectionately as the Yorkie , the Yorkshire house has always been a key leader in Lancaster's live music scene providing a great venue upstairs and a cosy bar downstairs giving you a choice of real ale , ciders and over 120 spirits.
A former 18th-century coaching inn, the mix of ages, friendly service and intimate drinking spaces, including a cosy corner with a wood-burning stove, help to explain this pub's appeal. Table football is a further attraction. A popular quiz is held on the first Sunday of the month. The sheltered courtyard garden is recommended throughout the year.
