Town centre pub that has escaped modern brashness, it has regular entertainment sessions on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons and Friday and Saturday nights, these involve Artists/karaoke. The splendid "Oak Room" that gained the pub its heritage listing is very rarely open, some mornings and by special arrangement only.
