Brass Band
Halesowen Brass Band was formed in 1987 to bring brass banding back to Halesowen.
Today there are players of different abilities, some old timers, some new players, but all enjoying playing together.
New members are always welcome. Gary Bell, one of the founder members, is now the band’s musical director. He has had many years of experience with brass bands as well as jazz and dance band music.
The band is a registered charity and entirely self supporting. They play at many different venues across the West Midlands.
Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 7.45 to 9.30 at Two Gates Ragged School, Toys Lane. B63 2HY
The Lido Park is near the old part of the town with the main entrance and car park off the Worcester Road approximately 100m from the end of the High Street.
The park was awarded Green Flag status for the first time in 2011/12 and each and every year since.

- Fishing at Heriott's pool and platforms for disabled fishing
