Originally operated by Alford-based Soulby Brewery, before becoming part of the Small Beer pub company, the Eagle has been a CAMRA Good Beer Guide regular since 1987. In 1998, along with its sister Small Beer pubs in Lincolnshire, the Eagle joined Castle Rock and represents the company’s most easterly outpost.
Handily placed near the town’s railway station and just a short walk from Boston United FC, the devout local following is augmented by football fans of all creeds on match days. Normally offering up to eight cask beers, the Eagle also has a function room and beer garden.
This gig is hosted in the function room by
The Boston Folk Club.
