Barnton Silver Band was first formed in 1891 under the name of "Barnton Temperance Band”.

In 2011 they celebrated their 120th anniversary with a series of local events.

We also have an eager training band too. Growing talent at grassroots.

We are always interested in new players.

Training Band 6.30 - 7.25pm
Main Band 7.30 - 9.30pm

All ages and abilities welcome, tuition and instruments available if required.

Opened in 1871 this 10 Hectare park has been awarded her 10th Green Flag Award (2017.)

Park Facilities include

The Pavilion was designed and built in 1887 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria and acted as a social focus within the park.

The Pavilion offers a light refreshment and informal dining service whilst providing some of the best views over the Jubilee Gardens.

'Stock at The Pavilion' is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and slice of homemade cake in the day or a glass of wine or continental beer in the evening. Offering a wide range of informal meals, which are all freshly prepared on the premises using locally sourced ingredients, the menu consists of traditional English and Mediterranean favourites with a modern twist.

Stock at The Pavilion is known as being the perfect venue for birthdays, christenings and celebrations as well as its hugely popular theme nights.
