We are a fourpiece blues band who play tradional blues, we play Chicago blues/Peter Green/BB/Freddie & Albert King, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan etc, weve been established since 2008 and have played Colne blues festival 5 times, Congleton BLues Fest 5 times, Maryport blues fest, Diggle,Hebden Bridge and Clun blues festivals aswell as BJs blues club in Chorley 7 times.
Unspoilt pub where the central bar and games area draw a good mix of old and young.
We are open every day (apart from Monday, sorry!). We are a traditional pub which sits across from Greenfield Railway Station. We are the only local pub to offer L I V E music every Thursday, Friday and Sunday (correct us if we are wrong). We are infamous for our live music and local ales. Our pub is quite unique, in that it is one of the original stops on the Transpennine Ale Trail. We have a beer garden out the front, which boasts stunning views of the Saddleworth hills.
The tap room has a log fire and old photos of Saddleworth. The Railway is a popular venue for all styles of live music on Thursday, Friday (unpugged night - all players welcome) and Sunday.
In a picturesque area, the pub affords beautiful views across Chew Valley from the upgraded beer garden and is a great base for outdoor pursuits.
