Description

We are a medium-sized, friendly concert band, rehearsing on Tuesday evenings near Sheffield City Centre. We have been going for over 20 years, we are sociable and active and play lots of concerts. We also have occasional away-days where we meet up with another band.

We play a wide variety of music for wind band - marches, classical pieces, swing tunes, film themes and 'old favourites'. A bit of something for everyone.

We rehearse at 7.15 every Tuesday evening at the Scout Headquarters on Trippet Lane, Sheffield S1 4EL

Description

Weston Park is a public park with an area of just over 5 hectares in the City of Sheffield.

Weston Park was the first municipal park in the city and was developed from the grounds of Weston Hall, which the Sheffield Corporation purchased for £15,750 following the death of its owners, Eliza and Anne Harrison. The hall itself was converted into the Sheffield City Museum.
