2016 marked the 40th anniversary of the AD Concert Band, and we now continue into our 41st year of performing a wide range of popular music to audiences across the Midlands and beyond.

Our band is open to everyone, so if you are a woodwind, brass or percussion musician then we'd love you to join us.

We undertake over twenty public performances each year, in the Midlands and beyond. The band has a varied and extensive repertoire that includes classics, music from West End shows and popular film music.

Description

The Stratford on Avon Bandstand stands in the heart of the bustling Recreation Ground just across the river from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and just a short stroll from the town.

It is a lovely spot to enjoy a summer's afternoon listening to one of the many excellent bands while watching the boats, swans and people go by.

The bandstand is managed by Stratford Town Trust and its programme of bands runs from May through to September. Most band performances start at 2.30 and run for two hours weather permitting.
