Brass Band
We are a small band of enthusiastic volunteers, some older, some younger, who like to make music together.
We welcome new members of all ages and abilities and you will find us practising most Fridays in Churchill Rooms Consvertive Club from 7 p.m. onwards so please come along, introduce yourself and meet the band.
The name Killacourt may be a corruption of the Celtic Killas, meaning grove and Quoit, meaning burial place. The trees were removed in the late 1920's to afford an uninterrupted view to the sea.
Killacourt gardens are above Towan beach, in the centre of Newquay, with lovely views along the coast.
