Live Performance
Hard Rock / Metal
Creating an intense new sound best described as a blend of hard rock and metal, HÆMARIA is a three piece drawing influence from Dorje, Seether and Muse. With lead vocals described as "Powerful and emotive" by the likes of Julianne Regan (All About Eve), the trio have been conquering the South West music scene.
Leaving a trail of mosh pits and madness in their wake, HÆMARIA have a live energy fuelled by their aggressive instrumentation. With commanding drums, rumbling bass and driving guitar, HÆMARIA have their sights set on a national impact.
Their first release 'Sagittarius' propelled them into the Bristol metal scene: securing them a following from the city's loyal crowd. Having recently been touring to promote their debut EP 'DISTRESSED', HÆMARIA are now back in the studio to record an album. The combination of Oscar Merry's heavy duty vocals and guitar, Hannah Holder's melodic basslines and Thomas Crabb's dynamic drumming and singing creates a soundscape that's bringing something new to the hard rock table.
This is a band who is constantly evolving. Their latest live performances have showcased songs yet to be released and have featured aspects of prog rock, math rock and straight up metal. HÆMARIA continue to push themselves as a band. Finding new territory and conquering it.
THE MOON opened in April 2017, brought to you by a new non-profit organisation CREATIVE REPUBLIC OF CARDIFF who plan to rejuvenate Cardiff's live music & creative culture. It was set up by a group of former staff of the recently closed Full Moon.
