The Big Blue have played blues festivals, beer festivals and private gigs at garden parties, BBQs, birthday parties, weddings, charity gigs, New Year parties, end-of-term celebrations, biker gatherings, anniversaries and many other special occasions.

We don't churn out the usual song covers (you won't be singing along to "Hi Ho Silver Lining") but if you're looking for music that'll have you reaching for your air guitar and shimmyin' and shakin' your booty, The Big Blue may be just right for you.

As a three-piece, we don't take up too much room, although we can't guarantee that Stuart won't take a stroll through the audience in search of a suitable "bottle-neck" to run along his fretboard. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Recently reopened after a stunning refurbishment, & with a new management team in place, The Royal delivers the ambiance and welcome of a local community pub coupled with comfortable & stylish surroundings.

Classic Sunday Roasts are served every week from 12.00 noon to 4.00pm & booking is advisable.

Monday-Saturday 12 noon to 4.00pm sees the introduction of the **new** light bites lunch menu.
