Live Performance
New wave, punk, indie and baggy
Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Star Me Kitten and the percussion section of Seventy 7; The Ex Kittens started life as a one off, 5 song performance supporting Tom Hingley from the Inspiral Carpets.
Audience reaction was so good they stayed together and have gone from strength to strength and are now performing twice a month (by choice) at pubs and festivals across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
With new wave and indie at their core, their sets nowadays range from the Who to Bowie to the Sex Pistols, Stereophonics and Stone Roses. In 2018 as they embark on their first tour and attempt to finish their cover of Vertigo by U2 that they have been working on for 12 months!
Our new sports bar is now finished with regular entertainment and food daily , we also have 2 function rooms for hire available throughout the year.
A substantial spacious building. Formerly a social club and still is the HQ of Cleethorpes RUFC. The bar area shows its club origins and has various scattered seating areas with no less then three pool tables! There is a separate function room with high class catering facilities and its own bar. Live bands play in the separate concert hall. Nice little grassed area with tables and facilities for the children.
With the removal of the national, Messy in Moortown becomes the biggest celebration of all things scootering in Lincolnshire in 2019. Lucarly's host a weekend of music and 2 stroke.
