Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Star Me Kitten and the percussion section of Seventy 7; The Ex Kittens started life as a one off, 5 song performance supporting Tom Hingley from the Inspiral Carpets.

Audience reaction was so good they stayed together and have gone from strength to strength and are now performing twice a month (by choice) at pubs and festivals across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

With new wave and indie at their core, their sets nowadays range from the Who to Bowie to the Sex Pistols, Stereophonics and Stone Roses. In 2018 as they embark on their first tour and attempt to finish their cover of Vertigo by U2 that they have been working on for 12 months!

Description

Traditional friendly pub in the village of Welbourn Lincolnshire. Real Ales always available and home cooked meals Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Now the sole pub in the village, the brick-built free house is cosy and welcoming. Inside is single long room bar area with a small alcove at one end. A variety of good homely food is available lunchtimes and evenings with special features nights. There are occasional quiz, music and other social events.

There are also two en-suite letting rooms.
