There is no better way to begin celebrating Christmas than with this Christmas Special that will feature all of Johnny Cash’s greatest hits, Folsom Prison Blues, I Walk The Line, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Big River, A Boy Named Sue, Ring of Fire, Orange Blossom Special and A Thing Called Love, plus many, many more, together with a selection of Christmas classics.







Don’t miss this unforgettable festive experience featuring Rick McKay as The Man in Black, together with Jodie McKay as June Carter-Cash. Also starring the amazing ’Starkville’ Country Band, that featuring such amazing musicians as Dave Hughes on Bass, who has toured with Johnny Cash’s younger brother Tommy Cash. Todd Knapp (from Toronto, Canada) on Drums, who has appeared on shows throughout the World and the West End and backed such bands as the ’Shirelles’, George Nelson on Lead Guitar, who specialises in recreating the sound of the early Johnny Cash recordings, and Gary Mears on Keyboard. Together they create the “BOOM CHICKA BOOM” behind Johnny Cash revisited.

Description

Stamford's independently managed theatre for the best in live music, theatre and dance.

The Corn Exchange Theatre is located in the heart of Stamford, directly opposite the Browns Hospital on Broad Street, which runs parallel to the Stamford High Street.

The Corn Exchange Theatre is also a short walk from Stamford central bus station, and 10 minute walk over the meadows from the train station.

Parking on Broad Street is free after 6pm daily and free all day on Sundays. Finding a space can be difficult due to its location and popularity.

North Street car park is the largest public car park local to the theatre. The car park functions as a pay and display from 9am - 6pm. after 6pm parking is free.

There are accessible toilets on every level of the building with full disabled and baby changing facilities.

The Theatre Lounge is open for pre-show three course dinners from 5:30pm on selected show dates. Tables must be reserved 3 days prior to show. Our bar is open for pre-show, interval and after show drinks (subject to availability)

Please note. Dates on which shows are on the Box Office will be open later than normal.
