Franssen Effect are Kate (Vocals), Ade (Guitars), Lee (Bass), James (Drums), and Chris the Cider Powered sound guy. Formed in Bristol in 2014 they are a bunch of highly talented individuals who collectively produce a sound and atmosphere that stands out from the crowd. Yes we do the usual cheesy favourites that every covers band plays, and why not? They are after all great songs. We like to mix it up and will play anything from the 50’s to the present day.
Rock, Pop, Indie, Glam Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk, R&B, Soul and Disco can all be found in our set, passionately played by one of the tightest bands on the circuit. Three part harmonies with Vocalist Kate leading the charge wow audiences wherever we play.
We have a reputation as a “Great sounding band”, “One of the best bands we have ever seen” and that is down to our investment in time, equipment, correct song choices and having our own sound guy at every gig. Our sound is tailored to the room and the audience ensuring you get the very best that we can give. Our professional PA and light show enhances the musical experience we endeavour to deliver.
