Smiths Tribute

We formed the band back in 2003 because of our passion for The Smiths.
We spent a year rehearsing every week to make sure that when we launched we sounded genuine - The Smiths and their fans (like us) demand nothing less. Fast forward 18 years and some 760 shows later and we see and hear ourselves now spoken of as being in the top tier of tributes globally.
It's a pleasure and privilege to be seen as the foremost tribute to THE SMITHS.

Description

The Level stands as a significant cultural and social asset within Nottingham Trent University's City Campus, serving as a dynamic hub for both student life and broader public engagement. It consistently hosts a diverse calendar of events, establishing itself as a key venue in Nottingham's vibrant events landscape, attracting national touring acts alongside local talent.

Inside, the venue unfolds across multiple levels, featuring a prominent balcony that offers an elevated perspective over the main stage and dancefloor. The air often thrums with the anticipation of live sound, while the robust, industrial-grade flooring beneath provides a solid foundation for energetic crowds. Advanced sound and lighting systems are meticulously integrated, crafting immersive atmospheres for every occasion.

Practical considerations are well-addressed, with two fully licensed bars ensuring efficient service. The venue is entirely wheelchair accessible, boasting lift access to all floors and dedicated wheelchair-friendly toilet facilities, ensuring broad participation.

Throughout the year, The Level accommodates a wide spectrum of gatherings, from high-energy club nights and live music performances to formal award ceremonies, student balls, and stand-up comedy showcases. Its adaptable spaces are regularly configured for conferences and various student-focused social events, reflecting its versatile operational capacity.
