This converted Victorian school, now managed by Hampshire Cultural Trust, consistently delivers a programme of touring performances while actively nurturing local artistic talent and grassroots music scenes.
Inside, the venue retains a sense of its heritage, with the solid timber of the original schoolhouse evident in its structure. The theatre space, with its raked seating, offers an intimate viewing experience, while the aroma of freshly brewed coffee often permeates the air during daytime workshops, giving way to the subtle scent of hops from the bar in the evenings.
