Elgin Town Hall stands as a central pillar of cultural and community life within Moray, a significant public asset fostering connection and engagement. Since 2018, the Moray Council has supported its transition to community management, with dedicated teams working to cultivate a dynamic and profitable centre for the region.
Inside, the venue presents a considered aesthetic, with warm wood panelling complementing the soft orange of the curtains. The main assembly hall, equipped with padded, interlocking seating for up to 550, including a fixed balcony, offers a comfortable environment, while the reasonable acoustics ensure clarity for performances and presentations.
Practical considerations are well-addressed, with disabled access provided throughout the venue. Refreshments and café services are available from the lounge servery, and bar facilities can be arranged for events. Conveniently, a car park is situated directly opposite the hall.
The hall's programming is broad, encompassing a spectrum of public events. Audiences gather for live music, tribute shows, and theatrical productions, alongside community-focused activities such as dance showcases and themed entertainment nights.
